A self-taught artist from Ireland. He started to paint in 2008.  In 2010 he held his first solo exhibition followed quickly by another solo show… Both sold very well.

In December 2017 Gearóid was a guest designer on Gleasta chun Feasta, Tg4’s Fashion programme.

Gearóid was featured as one of the artists, in the film ‘From The Land of Mhúscraí’ which was premiered at the Cork Film Festival in November 2016 and subsequently shown at Junction Arts festival and Kerry Film Festival 2017.

In February 2016,  Gearóid also featured on Imeall, TG4’s flagship arts programme when they visited him at his home in the Cork/Kerry mountains.

His third solo art exhibition ‘Substance’ brought his work to a new audience this summer and was well received in the Carnegie Arts Centre, Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
